Muramasa: Revenant Blades is an enhanced and expanded revival of Vanillaware's beloved 2D action RPG, originally released as Muramasa: The Demon Blade and later expanded through Muramasa Rebirth. Developed by Vanillaware and published by Marvelous, this definitive version combines the original campaign and all Genroku Legends story expansions into a single package while introducing modern enhancements for current-generation platforms.

Set during Japan's Genroku era, the game tells six interconnected tales revolving around the legendary Demon Blades forged by Muramasa. These cursed swords grant immense power to their wielders while driving them toward madness and bloodshed. As conflict spreads across the land, demons, spirits, and supernatural forces emerge, drawing six unique protagonists into a struggle that will determine their destinies.
